Get email updates from Kirkstall Online - 20 September 2009
A couple of years ago we set up a service to send you out emails on a regular basis. Unfortunately we were attacked constantly by spammers adding their email addresses to the service, to such an extent it was taken off the site.
We have now been able to reintroduce a slightly different service which will send you an automatic email when content on this main page changes. You will be sent the details of the article. We do not add news very often so do not worry about being bombarded with email but you will be kept up to date with what is going on in the community.
Fill in your email address in the box on the left for update emails.
The service is brought to you using Google Feedburner. (full story)

Waste not wanted ? - 15 September 2009
Leeds City Council is proposing the derelict waste transfer station between Evanston Avenue and Redcote Lane is a suitable site for a new waste transfer site to receive and dispatch 80,000 tonnes of residual waste per year. This is the waste that can not, or is too expensive to, be recycled.
What do you think?
